The rumor on some other boards is that Frost has committed to N Car (I think).
He has or will talk to Chiz today. We should know for sure by this evening or tomorrow. I hope we keep him. Great athlete and smart kid.

7-9 spots is a lot to be holding open. And Frost is a 4*

Or is it because with Calloway's commitment they have all the outside LBs they need?

Don't you know we are always trying to keep up with Bama. We need 27 more LBs.

My bad. Calloway is going to play RB, right?. So they should have room for Frost after all.

He is suppose to be. As I understand it, he has already been accepted at Michigan and AU, not sure about anywhere else. AU classes start Tuesday.

Bryan Matthews needs to keep his mouth shut too when it comes to this kind of thing. He's not a coach and he doesn't need to act like a mouthpiece for the coaches. He does have more access to recruiting info than he did with Tuberville, but still, it's pretty irresponsible to throw out that kind of info, imo. That puts Frost in a very uncomfortable position publicly. You don't want to have any recruit, much less one that commits at the Army game, called out publicly like that. It's best to keep that info private until the coaches sort it out.

I would have agreed 100% with this yesterday and last night.

Now, I think it is actually not that bad that he put that out there (though the good part is probably by accident).

1. It makes me happy knowing our class this year is loaded and about to finish VERY strong. It seems as if we feel very good about the highly rated players we still are going after.

2. It lets recruits that are considering us know that this class is going to be outstanding and they either need to keep in contact with the coaches regarding their intentions or go ahead and pull the trigger on committing.
