no not really. he told the AU coaches he was going to Mich, the changed his mind when RR got fired, but he hasnt talked to the AU coaches since then so they probably were pursuing other options and now they have to find a way to make everything work with our remaining scholarships.

He's talking to Chizik tonight. Most likely, the Auburn coaches just want to know that he won't switch once Michigan hires a new coach.

I call bullshite. IF I'm going to make the biggest decision of my life, on national TV..and its opposite of what the Auburn staff is aware of, I'm going to check with them before I do so.

You can call bullshite all you want, but that's what happened.

I can see how much troopah & pals want recruits to honor their commitments.

I think when I win our avatar bet, I am going to make you use an avatar of Trooper and Cam in it until the start of next season. What do you think?

That bet was with you, wasn't it?

Yes...I expect at least 1 decommitment for you guys.

It will be close.

If I win, I was going to have you use a Booby Lowder avatar.

Hell...I wouldn't mind using a Troopah Taylah avatar now...especially when camgate stokes back up after the bcscg.

If we are considering not taking Frost's commitment, I doubt it is going to be too close. I wouldn't be suprised if we had 1 o2 decommitments. I don't think it will happen, but G-Rob and Calloway are both decommit candidates in my mind.

I heard it was because Calloway decided to commit to Auburn; so no room for Frost.

Exactly, but if there is no room for a guy like Frost (which I think you make room for), then AU has some studs lined up to take the final 7-9 spots. My bet with him was that AU would have 8 or more 4* or higher (Rivals) players sign. Based on what has happened at the 2 All-Star games, I am sitting in a pretty good position to win that bet. Anything can happen, but I feel good about things.

Actually...the bet was 11, bro.

My bad, I think we have 8 now (9 if you count Frost), maybe that is where I got that number. Either way, I am in good shape right now.

With the NFL lockout looming, some colleges have had to implement a cap system too in order to handle the amount of contracts they have returning.

I just don't think there is anyway our coaching staff turns Frost away, no matter what happened - Frost not telling them he was going to commit, etc.

Bryan Matthews needs to keep his mouth shut too when it comes to this kind of thing. He's not a coach and he doesn't need to act like a mouthpiece for the coaches. He does have more access to recruiting info than he did with Tuberville, but still, it's pretty irresponsible to throw out that kind of info, imo. That puts Frost in a very uncomfortable position publicly. You don't want to have any recruit, much less one that commits at the Army game, called out publicly like that. It's best to keep that info private until the coaches sort it out.

The rumor on some other boards is that Frost has committed to N Car (I think).
