Yeah, before everybody’s senior season and other people emerged. Justin fields didn’t “suddenly” fall off. You just don’t pay attention

That isn't true at all, Fields was still widely seen as the #2 quarterback in the draft even after the 2020 season had ended.

He very well could have been seen that by most pundits. Then other things happened like pro days etc (things that matter) and other people moved up. He still just didn’t suddenly fall off the cliff like you’re suggesting.
