I got IP banned over there when I told them they indeed did not lead for Brey Cook like Hatch was telling them they did.

He had egg all over his face one day last year.

He said and I quote "Smothers LOVED his visit to AU, and he has Auburn waay out in front, and could commit to the Tigers soon"

Smothers committed to Arkansas 12 hours later.

Florida, Pensacola to be exact. My cousin went to AU for two years taking out student loans and now she is like $30,000 in debt or something cause of the interest

Is he even on campus? Or is this like the last time he was "suppose" to be there?

Yeah Childs really impressed me the first time I saw him. If he runs a program like BP does then I think he will be one hell of a HC. That story about Pete Carroll if legit says a lot about his coaching ability

I've only saw it posted once and it was vague info so I'm taking it with a grain of salt

He seemed to do a good job turning Illinois' offense around last year. Hopefully Zook doesn't get fired before he can really prove his worth. That was why I wanted him to get on at Florida. At least he would have a little more time to prove himself.

He should just be using Illinois as a stepping stone to a bigger OC gig, how is he as a recruiter?

I would say recruiting is his biggest knock. He is about as personable as BP if that tells you anything. He has an all business approach to his job and isn't going to beat around the bush and sell a bunch of fluff. He will definitely have to hire a solid recruiting staff because a lot of kids are very turned off to that these days.

Did you see that article today where Tim Horton said we have a silent commit?

Yeah HC don't have a huge part in the recruitment if he does indeed get a HC job

That really says a lot. He must have all the charm and charisma of a date rapist.

Yeah if he hires a young staff that are solid recruiters like Chizik did then he should be pretty legit. I imagine that he will keep the play calling duties as well going forward.

True story.

I saw some guys immediately guess that it was DGB so this thread got me thinking about it. Luckily no one took them seriously.
