is anyone scared to play LSU? I realize they beat us a couple more times than we beat them, but I never go into the game thinking we have no shot, like with some other teams. LSU has a irrationally high opinion of themselves, having accomplished no more than anyone else in the conference over the past 7 to 8 years. help me understand.

I picked that time frame because that was when Hugh Freeze came and showed the conference Ole Miss could be a force to be reckoned with. Of course, I didn't realize that the power punchers in the conference along with little brother would get so chapped at Freeze doing what every other coach of the power teams do and gets away with it.

same amount as yuou. same team as you. same team that weve beaten twice since you have even came close. same team we scored more points on in back to back games (87) than you have in a decade or more.

There is some truth there, but to be honest, since Coach O has taken over at LSU, the only SEC West school that Ole Miss hasn't come close to beating is LSU. In the last three years, they have not even come within 14 points (though they have either beaten or come much closer to beating every other SEC West team in that time including Bama). And last year was a total beatdown (though Ole Miss generally gives LSU a very good game no matter what their record is).

Son, LSU has played in a bowl game longer than any team in the SEC - 19 years running.
Of course we have an advantage, a built- in auto-win against Auburn every year.
