No we have Joe Burrow who's thrown for the most yardage in a season in SEC history, most TD's, highest completion percentage about to win the Heisman and is 12-0.

That's a lot of motivation for a great defense.

Against teams that are not good at all on offense. Best on their schedule in total offense #44, Arky State, to #127, Ga Tech.

Here’s how teams on LSU’s schedule fared against that offense:
Vandy down 35 till int td with 1:51 left against backup
Texas down 14 till td with 0:22 left
Florida lost by 14
Miss State down by 29 till td with 0:59 left
Auburn down 10 till td with 2:32 left
Bama down by 12 till td with 1:21 left
Ole Miss never got closer than 14 in 4th quarter
Arkansas down 50 halfway through 4th and scored twice late
A&M was down 34 when they scored td in 3rd, lost by 43
Other three blowouts

More like realistic. I've watched LSU this year. Maybe you should try it.

I love how LSU fans continue to undersell how dominant our defense has been. Not an single team has score more then 17 points of offense the entire season. The defense has only given up one rushing TD all season you have to go back extremely far to find a defense that's pulled that off.

They may not be breaking records but they have certainly been just as elite as LSU has on offense.

It sure does help when you don't play a single offense ranked inside the top 50.

The best offense UGA has faced is Florida. LSU averages 140 more YPG (90 passing and 50 rushing), 14 more PPG, 1.5 more yards per play and has fewer turnovers.

Good luck "shutting down" this offense.

It used too. Football is more geared toward offense these days though and until some defensive genius figures out how to slow it down, it will be Offense dominant for the foreseeable future. I do believe you have to have somewhat of a decent defense though. See OU and how they can never win the big one. They are all Offense and no defense.

I’m that case cancel the CFP and hand the trophy to Clemson.

ETA: and before you wax on about Clemson’s “ soft schedule” and how bad the ACC sucks, let’s just compare common SEC opponents for starters.

The highest ranked offense UGA has faced is Notre Dame at 47th.

The highest ranked defense LSU has faced is Florida at 10th.

Against that 10th ranked defense LSU put up 42 points and 511yds.

It's crazy that y'all can't see that the offenses you face matter. 47th is the HIGHEST ranked faced. 47th. That's terrible.

Stats speak for themselves. And he is a tough SOB. He will do whatever it takes to win.

He was pedestrian at best last season. One dominant season doesn't make one "the best qb in SEC history". The best season by a QB in SEC history, sure...but not the overall best.

Cam Newton is quite literally considering by many to be the best QB in the conference's history.

Would you like to know how many seasons he played?

He was in an offense that didnt let him audible. He progressed 10 times in one offseason what fromms has in 4 years

You're acting like he only had a few good games this year. He's been dominant for 12 weeks. Whatever you have to tell yourself to be convinced the UGA defense will stop that offense. Unless they figure out a way to get 14 guys on the field it ain't happening.
