I am old enough to remember, pre Saban, Alabama lost a coach to Texas A&M. Coaching “Bama” isn’t for everybody.

Fran left for A&M because the sanctions Alabama got hit with were more harsh than expected.

He might look to jump, but the word is that he’s wanting to go back west. If Lincoln gets the Michigan job, I’d bet he jumps to USC.
