It is not beyond the realm of possibility had Reggie let that ball gracefully bounce into the end zone.... perhaps the Hogs would be what Gators became.

We still would have won.
Their QB was going to fumble on the next snap. I saw it in a dream. Fish ruined my soothsaying though.

A1 ) Does Florida not win the SEC CCG and therefore tOSU and Michigan play for the title... forever altering the dominance of CFB by Florida LSU, Bama and Auburn?
A2) Does Arkansas go on to win the 2006 SEC Championship and the future becomes "bright" and not the series of dumpster fires they have had since then.
A2b) Would Nutt still be the Arkansas coach thus hastening Ole Miss's ascension ?
Muffed Punt ..."History Altered" @ 2:22 mark
The only result we can say with certainty is that you would have been hogsessed with us either way.

2006 was a blessed year for the Gators, no doubt. The Tebow effect was in full force even with Leake at the helm and Tebow relegated to back-up duty.
But the biggest break the Gators got all season, in 2006, were the two blocked (MASH HERE 55 secs) All-American NFL Pro Bowler Ryan Succop kicks against SC (by a suspended Gator player no less), either of which could have won the game for the Gamecocks and ended the Gator's hopes to go all the way that year.
Still, I'm glad it was the Gators and Spurrier's alma mater rather than anyone else ... but it was still a tough way to lose the game for the Gamecocks, especially since Urbie knew he did wrong with regard to Jarvis Moss.

Yes...as fate would have it (as fate does with all champions) my* Gators certainly had the ole Midas touch that year.

No one has ever thought about this in the last 7 years
