Florida sure is. Just say anything about Georgias football success and they fly to the flame in droves. “football isn’t that important” “UGAs not great at bb” etc. blah, blah, blah.
We all know what’s going on here. Too bad UF can’t field a competitive FB team anymore and it’s eating y’all up. But by all means carry on. It’s amusing to see y’all trying to pretend you don’t give a damn about FB. It’s the only thing that REALLY matters at Florida and you know it and everyone else knows it too

Yeah right. Florida is eaten up with envy. Since you can’t change the fact that Georgia has just secured back to back natties, you go after our improving bb program. White might actually make Georgia bb a real contender. It’s gonna be a lot of fun poking fun at the impatient Gators if that happens. Fun but not as much fun as seeing the Gators sick with envy over our football success. See y’all at the cocktail party. It’s gonna be an awesome day. For Georgia anyway

UGA doesn't have more Final Fours than those schools combined like what was stated.

Georgia has one. Hugh Durum took UGA there. And hopefully will have more. We are improving. Thank you Gators so much for being such spoiled impatient people. I like our new coach

Man, life really sucked when we just had to sit here and take it rather than remind the OP that UGA is your 2 time defending national football champion. And if you don't like it, you better learn to love it because its the best thing going today.

You picked a really odd thing to crow about... but yes, UGA has an EQUAL number of final fours to those 3 schools combined, not more.
Congrats on whatever that gets you. Doesn't really change the point of the post: that UGA can still needle those other teams about basketball despite not caring at all about it.
UGA doesn't brag about being an "everything" school. But we still collect national championships in a lot of different sports. Swimming, gymnastics, indoor track and field, swimming, baseball, outdoor track and field, Tennis, Golf and Equestrian. Not to mention football.
We're pretty damn good at sports in general for a school that only cares about one of them. We're #4 in the SEC in total national championships (that list doesn't include football).
The thing with UGA is we don't view mens basketball as being different than womens swimming. At UGA we have football (which we care a lot about) and everything else (which we care a little about). Because of that our basketball investment is very low compared to other schools, but in the olympic sports is pretty high because we'd generally spend money on 4 good coaches at lesser sports than one good basketball coach.
