Throwing that few pitches won't really have an effect at all. He is a guy they were wanting to go for 7+ so it isn't like he was reaching back and grunting.
Good for OM since they were probably about to pull Massie anyway, not sure it will have any negative effects on UVA other than losing the momentum though.
