as in Dylan wasnt even in the game.

Interesting, you just claimed Dylan destroyed Kalkbrenner on defense, but now claiming he wasn’t in the game for much of the game…enough for Kalkbrenner to wrack up 18 points?

Meanwhile Kalkbrenner literally guarded nobody

Well that’s odd, surely he guarded somebody while Dylan was enjoying the show from the bench. I wonder who that could have been? Maybe a NPOY candidate who couldn’t even get to double digit points? You truly are a genius, Jang

No I didnt. I said he had the better defensive game. Now you are lying.

He was out there and doing things while 6 foot guards were scoring under his bucket. I'll give you that.

Now your ignorance is really bleeding through. Broome has been in an ongoing funk and has been called out by his coaches to be better. Many of Broome's missed FGs were mental. Keep posting!

There’s no point in arguing with him. It’s like he just started watching basketball after last year when his team went to their first final four. These new Alabama basketball fans are soft.

Wow, trying to use the exact words already used about AU in this thread to just say it about me, how original.

Sadly, my post history shows I’ve been posting about Bama basketball since 2021, have attended probably 10 times more basketball games than football games in the past 2.5 decades, and even rushed the court as a student the only time Bama basketball has done that in the past 3 decades when we beat FL in 2002 to win the SEC on Pettway’s layup. Bama basketball fans have been watching for a long time, as we are the 3rd or 4th most successful program in the conference depending on how you look at it. Nice try little one

According to your own logic you started posting in 2021 therefore you must have become a fan then. Enjoy.

You’re running in circles at this point and don’t even know what you’re saying.

Yep, Broome was just seeing ghosts out there, had nothing to do with defensive matchups.

Interesting take, considering he’s scored in double digits in all 4 of his last games leading up to this one, and scored over 20 points in 3 of the 4 leading up to this one. This is his only single digit game of the postseason, but had nothing to do with Creighton’s defense. You guys are pure gold

You don’t read well. The logic isn’t AU fans started posting in 2019, it’s they started watching basketball in 2019. I didn’t find tRant until 2021, but I’ve been attending CBB games for over 2 decades prior to that. Try to read and understand what’s being said, it will make you look smarter

You dodged all my questions. You pointed out Kalkbrenner's irrelevant points (on offense) against Chaney and in garbage time when I asked who had the better defensive game.

Then you made up some shite about me claiming "Dylan destroyed Kalkbrenner."

You are a weasel bama fan.

It seemed like at least in the 2nd half Bruce’s plan was to keep Broome out of the paint to pull Kalkbrenner away from the basket? We won so it worked. Kalkbrenner was well known and did well again yesterday to not foul, although I did feel like the ref’s easily could have called 2-3 more fouls on him.

I don’t really know why we didn’t try to pound it low with Broome and Caldwell together much more often, but my only guess is we were more concerned about our guys getting into foul trouble trying to get Kalkbrenner to foul.

Auburn played well most of the game, the difference was that Creighton shot lights out from 3 in the first half and came back to reality. Auburn just needs to not panic and continue playing their game when the other team has a hot hand.

AGAIN.............42 points in the paint. Their big just dominated us. ?

When Creighton lost their ability to make 3s in thw 2nd half and us finally looking decent on offense, game over.

I unfortunately agree that Kalkbrenner had a good game. Yes we scored a ton in the paint but that’s mostly because they had NO ONE else besides him. Bruce did a good job of keeping Broome outside of the paint and that opened up the lane for everyone else when Kalkbrenner moved out to guard him, imo. I’m assuming that was a game plan. I was routinely seeing Kalkbrenner by the arc

I personally would have tried to attack them with Broome/ Caldwell combo together more often and get him in foul trouble or at least use our two bigs against their one. Maybe that was the plan until they were hot shooting the first half and we adjusted.
