No, I just think intelligent people should be in politics. I feel that way about both sides of the aisle. Nancy Polosi is just as worthless as Rick Perry.

gotta agree but its the corrupt ones that get into politics, other than the paul family.

Denny Sheridan just said Craig James' chances of being elected are the same as his having a 5-star meal on Mars tonight.
Danny Sheridan w/PF about Craig James,'He thinks a lot of himself. He has an ability to BS the audience. He's just not going to win.'

Was there any doubt he was a Republican?
Clearly.
I don't care, just calling you out for politicizing an SECr thread.

From MGoBLog:

I once took a business trip to Dallas during election season. This is how I learned that in Texas wearing a cowboy hat means you are running for office. If you're really serious you'll have a ranch or a slaughterhouse in the background. So guess who's gettin' his cowboy hat on!

Apparently, Craig James thinks he can take Kay Bailout's Senate seat after she retires next year. The sad part is that as shitty as he is, he's still better than she is.

being well known in athletics doesn't always transcend into politics. Barbara Dooley failed miserably running for Congress, losing in the Republican primary. She had the support of many of the party bosses and used a lot of UGA players like Hershel Walker as surrogates to support her campaign. Richard Petty lost his campaign to be NC Secretary of State in the 1990's. And the Texas U.S. Senate seat will be a much tougher political fight than Georgia or NC, and Craig James has a lot less behind him than Mrs. Dooley or the King.
