SEC CO-DEFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Corey Lemonier, DE, Auburn: Lemonier led the Auburn defense with six tackles, including 3.0 tackles for loss (minus 20), including 2.0 quarterback sacks (minus 16) and four quarterback hurries in Auburn’s 17-6 win against Florida. He helped the Tiger defense hold Florida to 194 yards of total offense, which was the fewest by a Gator offense since 1990 at Tennessee (194). He tied a career high in tackles and set career-bests in tackles for loss and sacks.

If sack stats determined who the best players were, Marcel Dareus and Tyson Jackson would have been undrafted and George Selvie and Greg Romeus would have been top picks instead of 7th rounders.

So, since we have a shitty defense, it should take away from Lemonier's accomplishments? Why wasn't this said about Nick Fairley last season. I mean, Alahunter told me that stats tell the whole story 100% of the time, therefore it must be true. But I do remember last season when LSU fans claimed Nevis was better than Fairley. Twas very funny for a while...

In the 6 games Lemonier has played in, the defense has been on the field for 433 snaps.
In the 7 games Montgomery has played in, the defense has been on the field for 445 snaps.
In the 7 games Ingram has played in, the defense has been on the field for 467 snaps.
I knew it, he has almost got the game film broken down to prove that Lemonier hasn't played anymore than the DE's from LSU and Bama.
Just wait, its coming.

Ford was playing just as much if not more than Lemonier at the start of the season.

Let's see, we've rotated: LaDarius Owens, Corey Lemonier, Dee Ford, Craig Sanders, Justin Delaine, Nosa Equae, Angelo Blackson, Gabe Wright, Jeff Whitaker, Ken Carter, Devaunte Sigler, Jamar Travis, Joel Bonomolo, and I even saw some white boy that was #97 out there against Florida last Saturday.
These folks jelly
We rotate a ton, and Corey isn't on the field near as much as they think

We need someone with no life to watch all of the games and make notes

Don't worry, Joey is in the process of breaking down the game film to prove that Lemonier hasn't played one down more than the other DE's around the league.

Go count them for us.
Only have to go thru 800+ plays of game footage to unveil the answer.

I gotta say, you don't give up even when you do get proven wrong, over and over again.

Basically, if you were to blend all the être the of Freeney, Peppers, and Kearse into one DE, Lemonier would be the outcome.
That about right?
