So you would have no problem lining Grant up next to Bolt for a sprint?

For 40 yards.....nope. Like I said in an earlier post, either you have never seen Bolt run or you don't pay attention. He is usually behind at the first 40 meters. His stride is ginormous. It takes him a while to get wound up. It's the last 40-50 meters where he blows by people.

Why do you not understand that Usain's great times comes in the 50-60 meters of his run. He does have a great start out of the blocks, but he doesn't pull away until the latter part of the race.
It seems the problem isn't Auburn homerism, but Bama bias that is the obstacle here.
eta: i have no idea what to think of Grants hand timed number. The combine usually settles things.

Great point. I just call him Blur

The fact you nimrods are putting Grant into a grouping with Bolt is blatant homerism. He's fast but c'mon...even Bama fans wouldn't swallow a 4.18 hand timing as legit. At least I wouldn't.

Wow, you are sooooo angry.I never said he was as fast as Usain Bolt. My point is you do not understand Usain's running style and really do not know what his true 40 would be. I have tried to find it and it goes between 3.96-4.30. Mind you that is on a premiere track surface with spikes.
Would Usain be the fastest man in any football stadium. Yep
My point has nothing to do with what Grant did or didn't do. Sorry you aren't smart enough to understand...
btw doesn't it make sense that his time would be faster in the last 50-60 meters after getting up to full speed?

Usain would be much slower in pads and after a few jams from a cornerback.

He is so fast he had to transfer to see the field.
He was too fast for the fatass bama lineman to open a hole. That is why Ingram and Richardson have sucked in the pros, at bama they were used to sitting until a hole opened up.

No one's angry, just seriously asking if Aubies truly believe he ran a 4.18 40. I seriously doubt JJ ran sub 4.4 at the combine with a fractured foot. I am just skeptical when times are given that just don't match with what is known. Did he run anywhere close to that when he got to AU? Would UA let him go with that speed? I'm guessing no.

The fact you can't comprehend that Bolt is not the fastest, in the 40 yard dash, in the world is blatant stupidity.

"Usain Bolt 100 meter Splits" Go down to there and look at his splits.
Bolt runs the first 50 meters in 5.47.
Bolt runs the last 50 meters in 4.11.

Hand timed it seems it was so, but it doesn't mean much. I look at his results on the field and no one is catching him from behind. That is all I care about.

And as I said, he IS fast. I just can't see a 4.18 out of the blue. That's all I'm saying. Dude can move, but 4.18 is a bit much.
ETA: I see it got changed to sensor timed now.
