matter of degrees. I have owned a couple of pairs of decent boots and I just don't like boots. I lived in Idaho for 2 years and every sob out there wore boots. I tried them. Just not my thing.

Lucchese boots are definitely the best...

I don't wear cowboy boots, but those are pretty cool.

I mean. As far as comfort goes, I would prefer to be this guy every day of the week.
But it doesn't look good and is informal. Sperry's are a nice in between ground, but once they get too broken in(which is like a month), I think Sperry's look incredibly trashy as well. A nice pair of boots is just clean looking, and once they get broken in they are comfortable to me as well. I guess I can understand if they aren't, but I've never found something nicer looking, with the same amount of comfort and lack of gayness. If I'm ever up north or back east on business I literally wear them everywhere, and black ones if it business professional, you know why? Because I'm better than someone that would ever wear gucci italian hand made shoes, and my boots prove it.

Ariat boots are all made in China now. If I'm buying a pair of boots, they aren't going to be made in China, and Justins and Luccheses aren't.
And to the guy who talked about his Docs and a polo as if that is somehow more highbrow footwear choice - a boot designed for English factory in the 50s workers and made popular by skinheads in the 70s - not exactly the best pedigree there either if we are going to get all judgmental about what people put on there feet. I love my Docs, but I have never considered them to be particularly "dressy."

The Zodiac Killer also loved him some Doc Martin's. That is how they finally tracked him down.

Rawl Tide!
Actually I don't really like my Lucchese's. This is the only boot I've ever resoled... and I've don't it twice.

I think this is them anyway. Got em about 3 years ago at the Justin outlet in Ft. Worth, and that looks close enough.

Why would I wear cowboy boots? I've never had any and hopefully never will.
Posted on 8/25/12 at 1:25 pm to TeLeFaWx
If they don't make MSU ones, they're making a big mistake. We've got a ton of country folk who would wear the hell out of those - we'd probably sell more than anyone in the SEC outside of aTm.

Growing up around Jackson, I don't remember any lack of cowboy boots. It wasn't Fort Worth, but they weren't rare.
