Ohio State would be close to matching both records if their conference commissioner hadn't handled the Covid season so poorly

If you exclude the Covid year where UGA only played 10 games (Vanderbilt intentionally wimped out of the Georgia game), then our 10 game streak is 7 seasons, and most likely 8 seasons if we'd played a 13 game schedule in 2020. 11 game streak would be 7 if you exclude 2020 (possibly 8 in a 13 game schedule, but that one is less sure).

Covid us why season streaks have to exclude 2020 or allow a top 10 in 2020 count as 10 wins

2020 literally changed the rules of how football seasons operate, so at least it makes sense to do so.

15 win seasons weren't possible until 2014 and 16 win seasons weren't possible until this year.

Alabama could have gone 15-0 that year easily since the only types of games it was missing were a FCS game and 2 cupcakes and it otherwise played one of the more difficult schedules ever.

But that's not what happened, and I'm certainly not going to pretend like Alabama went 15-0 just because we would have no doubt won those other games.

So I'll repeat:

Correct, but irrelevant to the point:

2020 was an anomaly, asterisk, *.

Is it just me or are UGA fans slowly taking on the characteristics of LSU fans?

Constantly referencing one season of greatness?

Living vicariously through the NFL accomplishments of former college players?

Wanting the SECCG moved to shithole NOLA?
