He had their other ten win season, one that had them in the MNC discussion until they lost at home to Navy then finished the year in the Gator bowl with a loss to Oklahoma St.
Paul Dietzel was the coach when they won their conference championship.

Alabama and LSU can talk down to us even though our history is almost the exact same with LSU and we have more conference titles, yet... Their National titles separate us.

I'd give the edge to Spurrier for SECe Championship Appearance while playing in a harder conference and era.

It really sucks to be a Mizzou fan. I never realized how bad your history was until looking it up today.

No one is on the same level as LSU and Alabama this year.
Mizzou isn't even ranked this year but you sure want to tear Arkansas down who has a MUCH better history and program than y'all because your season is awful. I'm enjoying this please continue.

39-28-2 and 3 Bowl games in his 6 seasons, he died in the winter of 89 before the season.
we didn't win any conference titles because we were independent.

I tip my hat to what Spurrier has done at USCe. He will go down as the Legendary coach if y'all win 10 games or get to the SEC Championship game again next year.
It will be nice to watch y'all beat Missouri. It will be even nicer if y'all pass them for program history in a few years.
