At first glance LSU's offense looks like a high school's in that it relies on the run and seems to be nothing more than a few plays run over and over.

If this is the immediate presumption of LSU's offense then Bama's must come off as a group of kids in the sandlot just handing the ball off to the biggest/fastest kid in the neighborhood and telling him to run with it.

So if Alabama beats an undefeated LSU (that has dominated every other opponent they have faced) in the BCSNCG, you don't think that they deserve the NC.

Wonder why they call it the BCSNCG if the winner doesn't deserve the championship. Silly me, I thought it was one versus two for the championship.

If Bama wins, does that mean LSU still has never had an undefeated season?

Bet Saban holds up his third crystal football if Bama wins and I assure you the Gumps will claim # 14 IF they win.

You gumps are the very best with stats. I have a gumpy neighbor(we are friends by the way)who bombards me with stats all the time. Not just against LSU, but any team Bama has EVER played.

Excellent job

Someone finally gets it. Short fields because of defense, special teams and turnovers.

Their is one more thing, we lead the league in sacks and sacks allowed. Not to mention scoring offense

Yes you will, which will entitle the 2011 LSU team to the regular season and SEC championship. Alabama will have to content itself with the BCSNC, a hollow victory indeed.

Saban will probably wear a mask while he lifts the crystal football, so no one will know who stole it.

One game for all the marbles. It is what it is. You now have to win the one that counts. Get out of here with that 1-1 shite. One game for the crystal ......go get it!

Don't forget the PA Option Pass. When JJ gets going, then go back to pounding, run an option or two, then bam JJ's gonna get a 25 yards gain with a pass.

That's close, jddawg58. However, "old school" is far more apropos. Deadly execution will normally result in positive plays regardless of the simplicity.

LSU is 75th in total offense averaging 375 yards per game, 215 on the ground. However, LSU is 12th in the country in scoring offense.

LSU is averaging over 38 points per game and 375 yards, or about a point for every 10 yards.

Ala averages 36 points per game and 432 yards per game, or about a point every 12 yards.

This means LSU has a 20% better scoring efficiency, or in your words, many more short fields.

LSU is at or near the top of every measure that leads to good field position!

No one said Bama wouldn't be champion if they beat LSU, just that LSU will still be more deserving (barring a complete blowout). LSU's season start to finish has been more impressive and thus has a résumé out of Bama's league this year.

Using the same Gump logic that was applied to OSU both teams would have one loss but our loss was better than yours because we lost to an undefeated 13-0 LSU juggernaut while you lost to the lowly SEC west runner-up.

None of you will have to worry about the ramifications/predicaments/splits because there will be an undisputed champ for CFB by Tuesday Jan 10th.

Great news. I was not sure that everyone would vote for Bama but you must be convinced that a decisive Bama win removes all doubt.

I still feel a little uncomfortable and undeserving and will agree to a split title as an acknowledgement to the remarkable LSU season.

Just let that little midget hold up his third crystal football in the dome in in NOLA, and let those cajuns get all butt-hurt that he ditched their program to take a shot at the pros.

Choot em Lizabeth!
