More or less tied. Just my opinion at this moment. It could change tomorrow, or after the first week....just an opinion.

Often synonymous with quality of team. USC blows. Ohio state and uga don’t.
If JT Daniels can't get the 4th most talented team to be bowl eligible, what makes you think he can win 10 games at UGA?

Well your 5 and 5 team is going to set the moon this year so why not UGA?

That's all that matters in DawgsLife's transitive property comparisons.
Could be a lot of reasons they went 5-7/ Talent was overrated. Coaches. (Which was the problem at USC) Could be injuries. There are a lot of reasons a team can underperform. None of which would apply to Ohio State. Good coaching staff. Talent. No big time injuries. But hey. You lice in a linear world. Go ahead and think that the best team always wins.
Fact is, Fields played for a team with more talent than Georgia with no significant injuries with good coaching and they still got trucked by 4 TDs. But somehow in your world Fields was going to come to Georgia and make up those 4 TDs.

They weren’t close to as talented as Ohio state and they have a bad coach.
Fields not getting a national title at Ohio state really hurts your argument.

I agree.

Your opinion, not necessarily a fact.

I'm not the one arguing that Fields' results = his results at Georgia.
Fields is a far more talented quarterback than anyone else you've had in a while, it's asinine to argue that he wouldn't have made Georgia a better team.

You keep saying this but 2020 Ohio State wasn't more talented than 2020 Georgia

A bit silly to split this hair

That's the man's entire argument

How
Ohio state has a loaded roster, remained relatively healthy, with a stat racking offense, in an easy conference. Far more conducive to winning a national title than uga has had.

So your argument is basically Ohio State is a 9 with Fields and Georgia is an 8 without him and he couldn't win with the 9 so he definitely couldn't with an 8.
My question is, how do you know Ohio State isn't a 7 without Fields?

And yours is talking up a bad program like USC, which is a far more flawed argument.

Hint: I was using a similar bad argument (Daniels at USC) to shine a light on how bad of an argument DawgsLife was making.

No, that isn’t my argument.
It’s very safe to assume Ohio state isn’t a 7 win team w/o fields. It’s an elite program that excels no matter who the qb is.

His argument is much better than yours.

Joe Burrow couldn't even start there.
Hate to see how bad he'd have been with a "less talented" team.
Oh wait.

2019 Joe Burrow was not the same as 2016 or 2017 Joe Burrow.

This doesn’t help your point, but it helps mine, so thanks!
