Because he was a far better college quarterback.

It's possible 2020 Georgia is a title contender with Fields.

You ask why I think he'd elevate the roster and then admit that he is more talented.

Possibly.

Its hard to imagine Georgia being in better shape with Fromm than Fields.

The problem with many UGA fans is they can't admit that Kirby made the wrong decision there.

I agree that he made the best decision with the information he had, but it was ultimately the wrong decision.

Anyone who knows anything about football can clearly see that, doesn't reflect bad on Kirby IMO, like I said, he made the best decision with the information he had.

Dude. He didn't elevsate a more talented roster yet you think somehow he is going to take a less talented roster and win a national Championship?

Solid logic, there bud!

And it's possible we would not be. He didn't elevate Ohio State with a more talented roster.

Again...he had a more talented roster. They did not win anything other than a playoff game. The exact same thing Fromm did.

Just so we are on the same page.

Fields played for a team that had more talent than Georgia and could not win a National Championship, yet you think he would take a team with less talent and win a national Championship?

And yet you criticize him for making the best decision with the information he had?

It blows my mind that you think Kirby should have taken all the information he had and made a decision based on that, yet you think he should have mde a different decision. Do you think Orgeron takes all the information he has at his disposal and then says, "Screw it! I'm not basing my decision on the information I have!"?

Is it because most understand that every coach makes the same decision, except maybe 90’s spurrier?

It’s a shame the transfer portal enabled him to leave Athens so easily. Who knows how he looks in the sec.

Bad news for A1abana fans!

Mostly true. Holding that Alabama offense to just 55 points was a win in itself.

With this argument, I guess 2021 Georgia is fricked since JT Daniels only managed to go 5-7 at USC with the 4th talented team in the nation.

Who knows? I would say Georgia this year is probably more talented than USC was that year. How did USC finish again?

I mean you are talking about a team that was perceived to have talent in USC, yet finished 5-7 to Ohio State who played for a National Championship? Okay.

You win. We don't have a chance. Just for the record? I believe we do have a chance, but far from being a favorite this year. If I were ranking teams right now I would so something like:

1. Alabama
2. Oklahoma
3. Clemson
4. Ohio State
4a. Georgia
5 Texas A&M

They had the 4th most talent and went 5-7.

That's all that matters in DawgsLife's transitive property comparisons.

It's the same as saying Joe Burrow would never be better than Dwayne Haskins because he couldn't beat him out

Irrelevant.

USC isn’t good.

And he was a HS senior.

That didn't matter in DawgLife's hypothetical.

Only the talent level of the team.

Often synonymous with quality of team. USC blows. Ohio state and uga don’t.
