Notice that the list of top 10 teams with most wins are also the carbon copy of top 10 teams with most draft picks.

Penn State is not listed because they recently vacated 112 wins due to the Sandusky scandal. On the field they have 842 wins which is 75 more wins than #10 Georgia.

So if you have top 10 all time wins, you also have top 10 most draft picks, 100% of the time.

So having good players means you win games, and then those good players get drafted....nice.

That word. It does not mean what you think it means.

With so many wins having been vacated the all time wins record is kinda wonky.

It's always a screwy metric anyway, as some teams started play much longer ago than others and many teams played full seasons very quickly (8-10 games) while othersp layed very small seasons (4-6) games for a few decades.

On the field Alabama would be at #4 with 867 and assuming Sabana sticks aroudn awhile would be about 3-4 years from passing ND and Texas for #2 all time. Michigan would be safe at #1 for awhile.
