Preseason rankings mean everything. Just ask Arkansas.

We don't have a weekend rotation as of now.. I don't see how we could be ranked any higher

We lost a lot off of our Omaha group.
Allen, Anderson, Overbey, Lee, Boz, Jamison, on top of Ellis in the pen and Laxer as well. I probably left a few out too.
Bottomline: We still have Trent who was our best pitcher last year. We also still have Weathersby in the pen and Short was awesome too. We need Bramlett to come back and for a couple of our young guns to show up. We'll have less pop in our lineup but probably more overall speed. It probably wouldn't be the best individual decision, but we'll benefit from Senquez if he decides to play.
Overall, my expectation is to be around a top-to-mid tier 2 seed this year. Somewhere in the 17-27 range.

That does seem low but this poll is not reflective of much anymore. Baseball America does the most homework even though they are more worried about the draft than anything else.
