Not sayin they are for sure going to win it all by any means. Like you said, its baseball and anything can happen. But to me, they look to be ahead of the pack by a good bit. Just solid all the way around.

1. Those shirts were wore over 6 years ago. Not a single player on this roster wore them.
2. Been to several non eggbowls in oxford. Every single time someone yells go to hell LSU in the middle of the National anthem. You are stupid.

Ouch. Once again, more proof of why it has to suck donkey dick being a state fan. I can't imagine never being good enough to win a title...in anything...ever. Damn, I feel sorry for you people. Geaux Tigers.
So again, here's another who gets personal worth from the college team he cheers for.
You shouldn't feel sorry for anyone

I forget who said this a few months ago but he was dead on... "The SEC has a lot of good teams with serious flaws that are going to get exposed in the Super Regionals and CWS."
Now, am I saying that Arkansas, Miss State, Ole Miss, and LSU all sucked? No. They were all very good teams but all of them had at least one glaring weakness that eventually did them in. If Arkansas batters had learned how to lay off bad pitches in the dirt we'd still be playing as an example.
The good news for the SEC is that Vanderbilt has been the most complete team in the conference this year. If we are only going to have one team left, they have the best shot at pulling it off.

Kudos to Lemonis for not running Ginn back out there. Coming off injury it was the right move even though it probably cost them the game.
What Casey did to Abel last year with Oregon St was criminal. Winning the national title is great but he did it for his own career and than called it a day.

^^Truth^
I don't know that Ginn was officially injured, but he was definitely fatigued which is the half-step away from injury.

Agreed. Hopefully by the time next season rolls around he can go a hundred innings. God knows we will need him. Right now i see our weekend rotation at JT Ginn, Brandon Smith, and Eric Cerentola. Barring a crazy good incoming freshman

I just told you i was pulling for oke miss in the super? The way y’all flock to a game thread after state losses is sad. You should be embarrassed

Hey not to change the subject (but to change the subject) who was the baseball player who was warming up and started playing catch with a kid standing outside the field on video? I thought he was an Ole Miss player.
I could be wrong on the team, but I know it was in the SEC.

Also here is a stat that shows you can be good at something and it turn around and bite you.
quote:
Mississippi State’s four-run rally in the ninth inning against Auburn gave the Bulldogs 28 come-from-behind wins this season. That’s three more than any other team in the nation. In the NCAA Tournament, Mississippi State has outscored opponents 15-4 in the last two innings.

How many pitches does Cerentola have, that may determine if he makes it into rotation or would make a lockdown closer with that heat.
