It isn't a bad strategy. Skenes only has averaged 6 and a third all year. And Lowry has pitched well. Only thing is, Lsu's pen has been really good.

Yep. Hard to wake up the bats after putting them on ice. This even happens in the big show, pitcher with low ERA gets little run support. As if hitters relax and take the day off.

Yeah I can imagine...for a casual fan, this is fun. It's fast, great pitching, great atmosphere, not on pace to be 4.5 hours.

He doesn’t throw many breaking pitches out of the zone so it’s tough to do that. He pitched Tennessee backwards all night in game 1. Only threw 46 fastballs in 123 pitches
