Wasn’t it 2016 when Penn St beat OSU and won their conference title, but the playoff committee put OSU in as the 4 seed and PSU at #5?

Yes , you are correct.. however.. you have to look at what else was available..
1 Bama 13-0 SEC Champ
2 Clemson 12-1 ACC champ
3 OSU 11-1
4 Wash 12-1 PAC 12 Champ
5 PSU 11-2 Big 10 Champ
6 Mich 10-2
7 OU 10-2 Big12 Champ
8 Wisky 10-3
9 USC 9-3
This is not how we are currently looking, it doesn’t look like we will have 2 p5 champs with 2 loss records.. and in 2016, the Big 10 champ got left out for another big 10 team., this isn’t the case. The SEC champ will get in.

Why is bama still #11??? They have 2 conference losses. Should be out of top 25 imo. Had it be any other team they would be.
