I saw a few of you guys talking trash about Clowney earlier this year, being a huge bust. Once again, the Rant was wrong!!!

Clowney has been a beast this year. Fun to watch. Anyone that says otherwise hasn't watched the Texans lately.

He's been healthy this year. So he's been a pleasant surprise. But our defense is still pretty good even without Watt.
But most Texan fans this season have been focusing on QB play, which has really held the team back. We have the worst GM in the league

I don't follow the pros much so haven't said anything about him as a pro here but Clowney has always been a guy that dominates when he wants to but gotdamn loses interest even if only for a game when he just becomes unfocused. That said, it should make him the kinda guy who ALWAYS shows up at the Super Bowl and the at least the end of team playoff runs. He's competitive and talent but not always motivated (and hey, I can relate so I ain't dogging that personality trait).

Didn't the Texans move him inside to defensive end?
If Clowney keeps progressing into a monster that he's capable of and Watt comes back it could get nasty. Draft Arden Key next year to have him rushing next to JJ Watt. Dear god.
