LSU scored 0 against Bama. Clemson scored 44. Yall are not on the same level.

I think the greater point is this. Since those aforementioned teams have fallen off, Clemson has been able to handpick their players, similar to Bama. I'm not going to say anything about their schedule, it is what it is. However, I do think the validity of your argument is they were gifted an easier recruiting process where they have taken advantage of being the one of the only destinations for a highly skilled players on the east coast. And that's to their credit.

seems to me that this is your reality, OP, because real reality is far from your version of it.

Clemson has been aided by a weak ACC

I would love for someone to list out all the excuses sec fans make when they lose
It would be some awesome reading. But a little too long.

ACC is 26-24 against SEC the past 5 years.
Clemson and FSU have 3 recent titles over SEC teams.
SEC's top two teams got beatdown in their bowls this year.

The last 5 years eh? You sound like a fricking LSU fan.

it is weird how Alabama fans always talk up how tough their conference is given Alabama rarely loses in it.
you try to make it seem like you are going up against teams with Trevor Lawrence and Deshaun Watson type of QBs in the SEC.

Well we do rarely lose, just as we rarely lose to the ACC. See Clemson vs. Bama all time record seeing as your a Clemson fan and all.

clemson has a losing record to almost every major p5 school. it was a small military college most of its existence.
most of Clemson-bama games were played 100 years ago. Clemson is 2-3 in the only recent 5 games.
you know there is going to be a movie about Dabo and Clemson beating the Alabama dynasty 2 times in 3 years in the natty. Clemson will be the good guy in the movie. lol
Alabama has only played at Clemson once and another game was played in SC in Columbia. 11 games were in the state of Alabama.

With those two being national title wins. You get no argument from me there.

They are competing with and winning battles in SEC states as well. They recruit nationally and do it well.
Dabo flies to alabama and leaves with commitments.
Justyn Ross feels like the most impactful Bama loss to another team in history given what he did and when he did it... including Bo.
They are a national power in every sense in football and continue to deliver in recruiting and in big games.
Second, their coaches have just as big a role. Bama was matched for talent and outschemed this game.
Kudos to them. It is ignorant to think they wouldn't be just as good if they were playing in the SEC East. It would certainly make Bama, UGA and Clemson's paths to the CFPs more difficult in the current environment... but that is the true reality

All excuses and reasoning aside.....THEY WHUPPED YALLS ASSES!!!
Posted on 1/10/19 at 11:04 pm to StarkvilleTigerFan
I've not made any excuses.
It was an arse whipping in every sense. The players were outplayed and the coaches outcoached.

Since you guys have invaded our space, let me tell you about your new-found greatness. Clemson has been aided by a weak ACC. Your trajectory is dictated by a weak Miami, shitty FSU, and non-existent Virginia Tech! Your true rival and toughest opponent in the last two years has been Syracuse...it says a lot...you’re 1-1 (should have been 0-2)! Texas A&M let you off the hook in what was one of your toughest games of the year. Truth is, you should be and are the “freshest” team in the playoffs! To literally have to get up for 2 games a year is absurd, but it’s not your fault! It is Miami’s, Florida State’s, Virgina, Virginia Tech’s, North Carolina and yes South Carolina’s fault! Congrats*
Said the fan of a team that hasn't beat Clemson since 1996. Damn.

You are a liar. 5 out of 19 games were played over 100 years ago and that doesn't = most. Out of those 5 games played more than one hundred years ago, Clemson won three of them.
Out of the 14 games played within a hundred year time period, from today's date, Alabama has won 12. If you are going to do stats, don't intentionally misrepresent those stats.
Now you can't be trusted.

And... they are 2-2 in games that matter in recent CFB history
Not sure of the point here.
Bama and Clemson were evenly matched in the first 2 mtgs and the deeper team (including coaching) won decisively in the last two games

The point is that a Clemson poster incorrectly stated that most of Alabama/Clemson's games were played over a hundred years ago.
That is not correct and the point was to correct him. What is your point?
