You said AJ was one of the greatest qb in cfb history. Good god. This proves you know shite.
AJ is not one of the best/greatest stat wise, but he is a winner and a good leader.
If Alabama goes undefeated and wins it all, it will be hard to top what AJ has accomplished.
But I agree, pure stat wise, AJ isn't Peyton Manning

Let's hope LSU doesn't follow our footsteps. I love Les.

So, you've clearly never been apart of a football team at any level.
I played at a higher level than you. If you think a loss is on qb when he puts up those stats, you know shite. Fact.

He is the most successful cfb qb ever. It's not even debatable.

He's gonna leave CFB with the following:
Best Attempt:INT ratio of ALL TIME
Second best wining percentage of all time (the guy in first is only ahead of him because you could have ties back then)
Almost all of his school's passing records.
FOUR NATIONAL TITLE RINGS, THREE AS A STARTER
He is NOT one of the BEST of all time. But GREATEST? Sure. I personally have different criteria for GREATEST and BEST.

Exactly what I mean when I say GREATEST, and even then I say he has an argument for it, not out right has it. I personally have a different "idea", if you will, about great and best.
Like Johnny is BETTER than AJ, stat wise, but AJ's accomplishments make him a "greater" QB.

It may not be "on him", but it's held against him when you look back at his career ten years later. Same if a coach does everything right and his player gets a lapse of judgment and fricks up. The coach takes credit for the loss, but it isn't his fault.

ETA: AJ went 1-1 against good teams last year in the regular season.
Nice try. Michigan finished ranked last year.
2-1
eta: I'm done. This was fun, now I'm bored.

Kind of like a baseball pitcher who throws a fantastic game,
but his team commits errors and cost runs.
Still, the loss goes against the pitcher.

Alabama will play FSU.
If we get there, this is the game I want to see.
I feel like Bama has already "played" Oregon via Texas A&M, so something different would be nice.

LSU and Auburn would beg to differ. I covered the spread many times over on the LSU domination of the ducks.

After watching the Ducks vs UCLA game, there isn't any doubt in my mind that we would beat them by at least two TDs. And since the media and duck fans have been clamouring for the matchup for a couple of years now, I say give them the curb stomping they want.

When the BCSNCG ratings are down because Alabama is blowing out Oregon, they'll blame Alabama again.

I hate this Topic at this point. We have several teams to play and so does Bama! Let's re-visit this at the end of the season, if Bama is still undefeated.
I am sure LSU and Stanford would love to end this BCS hype.
Bama vs Ducks would be great, but let's slow it down. There are too many games left to play!

Totally agree.
Alabama still has 2 difficult regular season
games left that it could lose.
Then the SECCG... It's a long road to Pasadena

I think FSU-Oregon or Alabama-Ohio State would be more exciting.

Alabama
Oregon is fast but Bama would put 30+ on that defense

FSU, Baylor, OSU, and Stanford are all better than Oregon
