When UAB was revived, the NCAA essentially gave them the green light to sign 40 or 50 JUCO transfers. And even with that, Alabama A&M had then on the ropes for 2 and half quarters in "Muh Return" in 2017.

AU offering him that job is like a Wall Street executive walking around Manhattan with his pants down.

What the OP said is actually correct but you cannot blame Clark. It was the NCAA that let them have two years worth of scholarships.
Another thing Clark has is they play in a shitty conference. CUSA is about a level below the Sun Belt.

But will say that I think Clark's best year was 2020. He really developed a limited defense into one of the better ones in the entire league.

Stop with the insults!

Pantsless Wall Street executives are way smarter than our PTB.

To their credit the Sun Belt has busted their butt to improve the conference and they usually have two or three teams that can either beat or put the fear of God into everyone but the truly elite teams.

CUSA has really let itself go down.
