I am an LSU fan and Chubb ran better and smarter in 2014 - no doubt about it. Fournette will/should learn to run behind his blocking better/smarter in 2015. Let's talk after their 2nd seasons. Chubb (IMHO) has maxed out. Fournette improved almost every game in 2014. I like both players but see more upside in LF. Trying not to be a "homer."

That's cool and all but Chubb also didn't run with the most incompetent passing game in FBS football

This was partly because LSU was rotating 4 backs

Holy cow. This kid just had a decent first season that didn't live up to expectations and you're already saying he'll possibly become a hall of famer

Exactly. Fournette is the complete package.

Also, I can't tell you how insecure UGA fans look starting this exact same thread every 1.7 days.
Keep this up and I will refer to you as A&M Jr. henceforth

2. Chubb is a very good running back and had better stats than Fournette, but Fournette is fairly clearly the more talented player.

I am not sure what is up with UGA fans.
Chubb is a helluva Back. Just leave it at that.
UGA fans blasted LSU fans about Hill all last year and look at Hill.
LSU and UGA run different systems.
LF7 was not as good as Chubb early in the season. It was clear as day, but LF7 has more tools, big, and faster than Chubb.
Chubb will most likely get more carries and have more yards.
LF7 will still have more talent and be the better "football" player.

Georgia had no downfield passing game. 1 pass completion over 50 yards all year... by Gurley.
ETA: FWIW, I think Fournette is a tank and will be great for LSU the next two years.

but he had the capability, our guy couldn't sniff 200 yards unless a db literally fell down. Both backs are elite in the SEC and Chubb had the better year. It's going to be fun watching these 2 progress

I was thinking the same thing.
Do you think if they convince themselves Chubb is better than LF it will somehow distract them from the fact that they haven't won a NC in 30+ years. They are the only member of the Big6 that didn't contribute to the SEC becoming the best conference in CFB. The BCS era came and went without them being able to win a NC and I think it really bothers them.
It's totally understandable.

Georgia fans. A cute but annoying bunch.

I think they'll both be great backs and I'm sure neither team would switch them if given the chance.

Booger will never be the same after R Foster destroyed him.

I would bookmark this thread, but the SECr Admins won't let me bump it next year.

Chubb is in a class of his own. Only people that blame the officials for every loss think different.
Carry on.
Carry on.

This is obviously a matter of incredible emotion for UGA fans for some goddamn reason. I'm around LSU fans constantly, and while they melt like no one else, and freak the frick out about a stiff breeze, I can say with utter certainly that none of us give even the slightest frick about Nick Chubb.
Not .35 shits given.
Motherfricking Chubb can run for 2500 yards next year and I'm still overjoyed we have Fournette. The end.
