Giving up 30+ points repeatedly but outscoring teams with Kiffins scheme and coaches is stepping up? Hell, Kiffin's offense had Miami beat as well but Golding shite the bed giving up 2 tds in the last 5 mins.
This absolutely idiotic revisionist history is hilarious. Please….continue bragging about the offense that had 9 plays through nearly two quarters and then blame the defense for not being able to make a stop at the end of the game.

Expecting us to be fine with a rival’s coach having locker room access just prior and potentially through the portal period is not realistic.
Yeah that’s why you were begging LSU to keep the offensive staff for the playoffs

It was something those coaches wanted to do and was agreed upon by all three parties. You’re broken and stupid.

Just as much the fault of the defense for letting Miami's offense just do whatever they wanted for 12+ plays multiple times

But you agree to hold the offense to blame for not being able to sustain drives until the end of the half?

Lane wanted to stay too so what’s the difference? You’re contradicting yourself again. Keith Carter too butthurt to do the right thing and it cost you your only shot at a natty.

It's the fault of both units.
The offense couldn't sustain a drive and the defense couldn't get off the field.

For sure. I just want to see an LSU fan admit that their savior assistant coaches shite the bed.
Golding has always ran a bend but don’t break defense that gives up long drives and holds them to field goals. And that’s exactly what they did. I don’t like that style of defense for the exact reason why we lost the game at the end…..but the defense kept us in the game at half.

Did they, or did your players not execute?

Who teaches the players how to play?

That defense gave up 4 touchdowns... and only 1 field goal.

Pete Golding, in that game

Two punts and a FG in the first quarter. One more punt in the 2nd.
And god forbid a national championship contending team scores touchdowns.

For all their revisionism over Golding, his 2025 defense was the worst he's had at Ole Miss and really none of them were really interested in him being the head coach.
Someone on their board mentioned promoting him around the time of Kiffin's departure and it received zero upvotes and three downvotes.

Ah. So you credit Golding for two playoff victories then. Seeing as how he was the coach who was coaching them.

Well yeah, I'm not a complete simpleton like you.

I’ll be sure to direct you towards your fellow fans so that you can correct them.
