Trust me, we need to keep it up. It absolutely PISSES THE HELL OUTTA people in other parts of the country such as OU fans up here. It is hilarious. Can't even begin to describe it. Trust me, it's worth it. Like pouring salt in a an open wound for them.

id rather just stick to LSU chant. the sec didn't win our national title we won it. why chant sec over LSU

id rather hear rocky top over and over than sec chant for 2 seconds.
the first time i remember hearing it was in 06 from uf. if a bunch of jort wearers are chanting something it probably should just be left to them.

You know we weren't the first HBT.
Sometimes it's cool. If Bama, LSU or GA played OSU or USC for the NC then I would go with SEC over their chant just to piss off the wannabes.

ill stick wit my team over the conf. as i said the sec didn't do jack shite in any nc. UF and LSU did. If anything the rest of the sec should chant UF and LSU since we are carrying everyone

I see your point. However, if I can piss off the Big 10, 12 or Pac 1, I'm all for it.
I wouldn't do it to Va Tech though. They are really harmless.

Retarded, since it was the strength of the SEC that allowed you to get in the NC with two losses, and that is a FACT.

We did the SEC chant over in Norman during the College Baseball Regionals. They got pissed the frick off. One dude started chanting "Oklahoma State" for some reason

I was dating a girl that went to UT in 2000 and went to the cotton bowl (UT vs Arkansas). The SEC chant pissed off the Texas fans to no end. I think given the SWC history between UA/A+M, the chant is appropriate.
