Clemson has the athletes to do it. Arkansas doesn’t.

Defense is a major concern with this system. Can't go all warp speed the entire game and play decent defense in our division.

The OP might be the first ever non-trolling/non-POS post from a Clemson fan I've ever seen on the SEC Rant.
Whie I pretty much agree, I will give them credit when they do not troll and talk reasonably. However, this board can try the patience of Job. I've seen people make reasonable posts and people pile on them. This happens to be a good, helpful post.
Gosh. I don't remember the last time I read one of those from anybody on this board.

The USC fans won't leave us alone and we won't leave them alone...It's like the parable of the Scorpion and the Frog..They say something that jerks our chain and we do the same...It's our nature.
Clemson fans will be sincerely interested in seeing Coach Morris do well. We have a debt of gratitude for what he did for our school and will support him by supporting Arkansas.

Plus it's fun.
Probably a lot more fun for y'all, but I still enjoy it

This won’t happen in the SEC. I could see mid 70’s, possibly low 80’s, but he won’t touch 90+ a game. Defense is a thing in this conference

Quite the moving goalpost you have there.
Arkansas is going to light up the SEC offensively in the next few years. Their recruiting will see a major uptick offensively as well.
Morris >>> Bayou Boy

Cordialness between Clemson and USC fans? I thought I only saw this in the Lowcountry

IMO, troll/flame threads get troll/flame responses.
This isn't a troll/flame thread.

I appreciate the subtle lowercase change in Clemson from my original post

Hey. I understand. We have Florida and GT. I was just surprised to open the thread and find sanity.

There is actually another clemson poster, AWAL, that is a decent poster capable of non-trolling posts and fair, balanced discussions.
Some kind of sorcery, I tell ya.

I know Chad was considered a good recruiter; I don't know how good, but he was solely responsible for bringing Watson to Clemson. He might not be Urban or Saban, but he's a sincere person when you hear him talk.
He'll get some good ones.

Did Petrino lack athletes?

I think he's great, and Arkansas just hit a homerun. He's now a HC at a major program, and should be able to settle in for a while and put his mark there, as he did here. He's driven and knows exactly what he wants to see on the field. It's also widely believed that he's the one who instituted the toughness in the program. That guy helped change everything here.
