If LSU wins out, they'll move way up in the rankings

I'm really not that worried about the rankings. We're a 3 loss team. If we win out we'll be alright. My main issue is the ridiculous inconsistency of the poll.

If we were still in the hunt for the CFP, for instance, undefeated except Bama, and we saw a drop like that I'd be pissed. Especially with the minimal drop of A&M.

Wayyy too high...but still in our rightful place above Auburn.

We win out, we go to the playoffs. You win out, you'll be watching us in the playoffs.

The only thing that makes sense to me is the committee doesn't want to admit how badly they screwed up the first ballot. I'd put A&M 12-16 or so.

Nebraska drops 9 for losing to top 10 Ohio State, yet Texas Light only drops 4 after losing to unranked Miss State. Aggies are worthless.
Nebraska was ranked too high when undefeated, because they hadn't played any strong teams. Then they finally played two ranked teams and lost to both.

I could believe this during any other year. But this year it does seem strange that A&M only falls four spots for losing to Ms State. Almost like the pollsters are holding the dawgs in high regard. I don't get it. As far as Nebraska goes, their QB may not be healthy for awhile. I would not be surprised if the Gophers beat them in Lincoln now. And they would be 8-2. Frigging Minnesota could be 8-2. And the game against Wisky would have huge implications. Like Washington/Washington State. Who the hell would have thought that? Now are those games big like Iron Bowl or OSU/Mich Big? No. But still pretty compelling.

USC scored on Bama

And then proceeded to lose by 379 points.
