No.
Arkansas has played in the SEC since leaving the SWC in 1991.
Texas AM has played Baylor, Texas Tech, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Iowa State, Colorado during that same 20 year span....aTm should have more wins.
Be proud, bump your chest

Not at all.
Anyone with an ounce of football knowledge knows aTm is one of the most underachieving programs of all time.
No national championships in modern era football. Located in one of the most fertile recruiting areas in the nation, yet wallowed in mediocrity for most of its being.
Meanwhile, Texas has continued to win national titles, conference titles, and had 10 ten win season in the last 17 years.
They won it in 1939, and a lot of people count that as part of the "modern" era with the introduction of the AP poll in 1936.
Edit: I agree though, it seems like they've massively underachieved.

Alabama is ranked a little high imo....
Jk we're the best and should probably have a star or two by our name .

You give Vandy the recruiting base of Texas and they're a power.
Aggy historically only cares to win one game a season.

quote:Are you talking about the Rose Bowl? Alabama got into the Rose Bowl before they turned it into a Pac 10/Big 10 bowl game.
I hate that ranking, not because of auburns placement, but how they score it. and the main gripe is the points awarded for "Big Four" Bowls, Several of the teams pretty much had a tie in to one of the big four bowls for a large chunk of history as opposed to the others who were less than likely to make one of the bowls no matter their record
Teams from other conferences have a zero to minimum chance of going to the Rose Bowl.

Not really, they all know Oregon wasnt shite prior to the late 90's, they just have the same mentality some of the younger homer LSU fans have post saban
Except we were a power before the 90s. Not as good as we have been this century, but still a top 15 program before the 90s happened. It's amazing how many fans judge our 90s as the only thing that happened before Saban.

Central Michigan and Army still scoff at this. As does Bama and Tennessee.

And Tennessee is 10 mostly on the strength of shite that happened in the 1920s.
And some people think Bama lives in the past
