I don't think you are even capable of understanding if you did listen. I just thought I'd post this mainly for the Bama fans to read.

I KNOW you don't want to play Bama gain. Believe me, we all understand this. But the reasons you're coming up with, as cecil points out, are BS.

Either shut up and wait for the game, or just admit that you want to play a cupcake.

the NFL should start giving the #2 team a buy into the Super Bowl if the top 2 are from the same conference, right?

When ever the NFL adopts the BCS system, they will.

You're telling me that if Bama somehow beats LSU in the dome that a 1-1 season record with the win coming at a neutral site and the loss coming at home that Bama would deserve to be champions?

Gee, I don't know. If UGA beats you next week are they SEC champions?

If OSU makes it in and wins (since they're the #2 team and all) will they be national champions, or will Iowa State?

I would love to play, and beat, Bama again. I don't think Bama deserves a rematch because they lost at home.

Considering that UGA is the best team from the East and we haven't played them this season then yes they would be SEC champions. They would be 1-0 against us with a win at a neutral site.

That comparison isn't even close to an LSU vs Bama rematch

Is OSU getting a second chance against Iowa State or are they playing someone new?

Idiot.

I agree, and I don't expect any of them to read the article, but Cecil succinctly shoots down all their whiney complaints.

And what did you think he was gonna say...or do...give us a blowjob?.. ..you people are worried about the wrong fans...its not LSU fans that will keep you out of the title game..its the rest of the country...and NO we are not scared to play Bama again...we relish to beat your arse again...Remember before the first asswhipping...nobody beats Saban two times in a row...well, what happened to that?...

This week you may be 2....but what about next weekend,..??..you are not even playing..all you can do is sit and watch your chance evaporate...

Oh, I am fully aware that this is a real possibility, but I wouldn't put my hopes into OSU beating Oklahoma. It just doesn't happen often. And even if it does I don't know if OSU can make the jump.

If OU beats OSU, LSU fans are setting themselves up for a flamefest from our Bama brethren.

Why don't you shut up, No. 2.

We hope you get in.

But you'll have to rely on others to do it.

The Gumps are the ones that are scared they'll be left out or they wouldn't be screaming for a rematch so much.

Something I said get under your skin a bit gumper?
Your ego sure is fragile....for some reason. The reasonable Gumpers, know we are the better team and have told me so here in BHAM.

OU WILL beat OSU.

I'm just calling BS on LSU fans' "reasoning".

I call BS on your punctuation skills. The period goes inside the quotation marks. What's telling is that the Gumps won't even entertain the possibility that OSU could jump them in the final poll. Instead, they just say, "Give us our rematch!"

bullshite. You'd LOVE to beat us again. But deep down, you're afraid you'll lose to Saban and Bama and undo what you finally feel you've won.

I haven't read this whole thread. I'm just curious about something. IF OSU were to win next week, sell me on bama having a better resume than them and being more the deserving team.

(Disclaimer: I'm fully expecting and have accepted Bama to get in regardless.)

No, I think most of us have admitted it's possible. I think what's telling is most LSU fans think a one-loss team from the Big12, who lost to Iowa-fricking-State might deserve to get in ahead of Bama who lost to LSU.

There are a lot of scared LSU fans out there. Deep down they know that Bama and LSU should play but they want an easy win. I don't blame them but just funny how they try and justify it with what they think is logic.

Wan't to know why the whole US and probably most of the civilized world thinks people from Bama are backwoods simpletons? Read your statement. It's pretty amazing how far you people will go so somehow fabricate some stories to make you feel better about your football program. Here are the facts

ANY team in the BCS NCG is capable of beating the other. LSU has already proved it can not only compete with Alabama, but it can beat Alabama There is nothing to be afraid of. :SU fans know little about teams like Stanford, VT and OSU because LSU hasn't played them.

No one is scared of Bama. Been there, we know LSU can not only compete but win, we know little about the other teams. So you backwoods gumps can continue to show your ignorance so the world can just reinforce it's stereotypes.

I'm liking this whole "scared" meme. Of course, we all know who is really scared. I said before we beat bama at their house that bama fans were scared because they truly believe this is their best team ever, and yet LSU is just a little bit better.

The meltdown after LSU beats that arse in new Orleans will be epic.

I personally place a higher value on winning a conference rather than comparing losses. If you had to do it, OSU lost on the road in 3OT and Bama lost at home in OT. That loss is still a loss. Wins against quality opponents should matter more than losses.
