I doubt it's true. Yella Fella doesn't accept no.

You were a 4th & 31 away from beating Alabama in Saban’s last Iron Bowl ever with a QB who threw 2 INTs.
How many Auburn fans do you know who wouldn’t be willing to pay $1.5Mil to get a win over Bama in Saban’s last Iron Bowl with Tua’s brother playing QB?
I don’t think you’re a serious person if you don’t believe $1.5 mil was a bargain for that.

All of them.
And the reason we lost was because of a PR and because of a dumb DC, not because of the QB. Your narrative is stupid.

For those holier than Auburn from their double wide:
Martin wasn't having it with the phrasing of the lead-in.
I suggest Bama doesnt schedule Miami of Ohio any time soon. Yall think New Mexico was bad....

And OC was a bigger issue than that. That’s why Freeze shite-canned that guy

That is lunacy. You people would never stop talking about that game. You’d have a statue of Taulia. You’d name restaurants after the game. Your program’s entire identity revolves around beating Bama, and you don’t think $1.5Mil would be worth the price for that win, under those circumstances?
Stop it.
How much money comes pouring into the Athletic Department after a win like that? How much money does the City of Auburn make in sales tax alone from merchandise sales? Please.

Horse shite. 9 of Auburn’s 11 drives went for 5 plays or less. You converted only four (4) 3rd downs, and had 93 yards passing. If any one of those offensive drives get extended, Auburn likely wins the game.

You have some weird fantasy about Auburn fans. Not trolling. Auburn used to beat Bama every other year under Gus. Shouldve won in 2021 and 2023. Beating Bama isnt some free beer for the rest of your life moment. Auburn would rather win championships to give that prestige. Jacob Hester, Nick Marshall, Cam Newton, glorified and unsung heroes deserve that honor

I'm sure a lot of that was in the first half considering Thorne only completed one pass by the half. Thorne made plays with his feet in the second half, enough so that if the Auburn DC did his damned job Thorne would've gotten the win.

It is when it’s Tua’s brother who does it & it happens in Saban’s last ever Iron Bowl.
Imagine… Saban goes out a loser in the Iron Bowl (just like Bear, which you people reminded us of frequently prior to Saban. We made Bahr retire!1!), and it’s done at the hands of former bammer, baby Tua. What a dagger that would have been.

I get the flare in drama of what you're saying but playing Bama close at home is what Auburn does.

I don’t see the problem, other than Whitworth being the worst coach of all time.
Everyone else cheats and wins at Alabama.
Everyone cheats and loses at Auburn. There is nothing new under the sun.

Show us where is states Aubie cheated with this recruitment if in fact the numbers are even factual.
Hell, Big Al moved Tua’s entire family to T-town from Hawaii and set the family up with jobs.
Hub caps, menswear, gambling in baseball, textbook scandal across all sports, kickback for signatures, agents.
Interesting that Aubie told a 5 star QB and his dad (who was offered 1-2 mil with $200,000 signing bonus) to kick rocks after the dad started playing games.
Big Al coughed up 1.5 mil for Williams. Aubie got Coleman for $800,000. Hugh told a 5 star he wasn’t paying 1 million for a linebacker and showed him the door. Bama is having to pay out of the arse for visits and commits.
No trouble in Auburn since Dye. Albert Means fiasco alone was more money for all of Auburns indiscretions.
One could write a novel on UA probations starting in 1993.
Keep that head in the sand.
