What happened? Did Georgia not think he could get them to the next level? Did Miami just offer more $$$.

The consensus on the Georgia board is that there's no strong feelings about Carson Beck one way or the other bordering on indifference, except for one guy named Peter Buck.
He stuck with the program and waited his turn to be the starter, which is appreciated. He had one foot out the door during his second season as a starter and and he had Instagram model vagina brain and was supposed to turn pro after the season the whole time, but then he got hurt in the SECCG and wouldn't have been ready in time for the NFL Combine and draft. Miami threw 3 or 4 million dollars at him, which made the transfer to Miami a no-brainer for both Beck and Kirby.
Good for him, I guess.

He was gone from Georgia regardless. Left for the NFL found out his draft stock was low came back to college for NIL money. He was never going to play at Georgia in the 2025 season.
