No, he's not Ike. Ike played after the time frame he said, and is probably living in DC, as he is the WR coach for the Skins.

Even if you're telling the truth, being able to catch a football doesn't make you Steve Spurrier. I haven't heard any legit football analysis out of you that would suggest you have some deeper understanding of the game than anyone else on here.

Fair enough, I'll leave it as a general sense then. That being said, we'll have to agree to disagree then. I would point to a specific staement by Barrett Jones (and before CrimsonNation jumps my case I think he is a class guy. I've read of all the things he does off-field and wish all players had his character). He said 'restore order'. This is a reality of 30 years ago, before he was even born, hasn't been true since. Finishing 2nd in the division isn't the order he wants is it? That ISU meteor only comes once every 75 years. At some point UA will have to be conference champion more than once this century. Now let me ask you, isn't this arrogance, intended or not? A harkening to a reality that once was, but no longer is? I think this is a fair question.

All I can go by is what you've said and you haven't given any kind of football analysis other than reciting a bunch of stats.

Listen. To think we could slip up against UF out of arrogance is the same as saying that we will take them lightly. It's Florida. It's an SEC game. Florida is much improved. How could you think that we'd let our egos get in the way of such a big game?

@ calling me a geek like we're in high school or something, and this guy is supposed to be around 40 years old. Maybe if we're lucky he'll drop some more slurs.

First of all know one questioned the x's and o's of LSU. I personally think that the O and D are performing great. I questioned the arrogance of the players and fans. For instance, what other school you know of in the history of the Heisman voting had a player finish in the top 5 but be suspended for the whole season the following year. Or have 7 players ruled iacademically inelgible with 3 other recruits who didn't qualify academically. It's the little things in football never the big things!
