They play or they are released for medical or other bullshite reasons. Get hurt u r cut. But it doesn't matter because every recruit thinks he is the best mfer ever born and invincible so they keep signing 35-40 and cutting 10-15 a year. Fortunately for Bama Football players aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.

Greyshirts don't sign scholarships and aren't part of the team. They just usually sit out a year before they sign a scholly.
