If Bundy becomes a Bama fan we may have a chance.

Ole Miss and State both have a ceiling of 9 wins. If either of the "bottom dwellers" can make a move it'll be OM. Prescott is the most overhyped dual threat quarterback in the country. Questionable decision making with a slightly above average skill set. His arm is mediocre and the accuracy is meh. His size is the only thing that's intriguing, I'd be surprised if he runs under a 4.8. There's a reason he was a three star prospect.

Not a Bro Wallace homer either, but he will have better numbers when the season concludes. Ole Miss has superior skill players and the better defense. I really don't think it's debatable.

It's a very real possibility State will finish with the better record in 2014 considering their OOC schedule plus their rival from the east, Kentucky.

OM
Boise State
Louisiana-Lafayette
Memphis
Presbyterian

Ms. State
Southern Miss
UAB
AT South Alabama
Kentucky
UT Martin

I guess you could say that, y'all have the edge due to the Egg Bowl location

You can't be serious...

Lol

I'd say they are pretty damn even.

Y'all OOC games are just as winnable as ares. Boise is washed up so don't act like you can brag about that. Also, your east rival is Vandy who is projected to be just as bad as Kentucky this year.

MSU and OM both have some serious question marks on the OL. OM lost fairly average guys, but they had some experience and losing them will hurt. MSU lost a very good G and a serviceable LT, I think. This could be the biggest thing deciding if either team has a good year or not.

Now that Johnny is gone and as long as A&M has Sumlin, they will never win the West. Many may disagree with me, and that's fine, but A&M will rarely beat more than one of the top 3 teams in the West on a given year. Going forward, I expect LSU, Bama, and Auburn (with Malzahn) to dominate head to head matches against the Aggies. I don't care what kind of talent A&M claims to have. Sumlin is a great offensive coach but they can't match other SEC defenses under that regime.

A bad defense usually helps out a qbs numbers. Have to throw a lot when you are behind.

OL will definitely be one of the biggest ? this season. All of our starters have had starting roles in years past, some cut short due to injury, but all will have had starting experience.

Our OOC slate is much tougher with Boise and ULL. Those will be tougher then anyone you play OOC this year. Also you play Vandy too, so that cant be held against us. We do play Tenn though. We both got pretty lucky with our East draws this year for sure.

He didn't even have better numbers last year.

Where? You've got one elite receiver that's now on the outside -- where your QB can't get him the ball. Meanwhile, MSU is the team bringing back the highest yardage receiver in the conference...

But it's completely irrelevant because Ole Miss will be highly favorited in those games much like with State and our OOC games.

Pivey, their ooc is definitely better. Don't be an idiot.

They are not playing anyone good, but they are facing a couple of decent teams.

We will bring back one of about the 30 most(starting) experienced OLs in the country next year.

ETA: That's 81 returning starts among 5 players. Per Phil Steele's numbers last year, that would have tied us for 30th most in the country...

If Senior starts at right tackle, we would have at least one game starting experience at every position. Most likely, Malone gets that spot -- and Clayborn gets his first career start(s) at the left guard spot.

The teams they are playing are better, but it's irrelevant because they aren't gonna lose. It's when you schedule teams that actually have a chance at beating you, that's when you can start bumping your chest about your OOC schedule, but right now, Neither team has that.
