Based on what?
Engram played in 8 games (really only 7 because he was in for like 2-3 plays in the bowl game) last year and had 21 receptions for 268 yards and 3 touchdowns
Johnson played in every game and had 30 receptions for 391 yards and two touchdowns.

IIRC, it was from a hit he took against UTEP going into the endzone. Tore something when he hit the turf.
Wasn't it Tulane? I think you're right about the how.

Exactly. Why do you think Mullen went all in for the kid?

Gotta love it when you basically blame the season on a 5th yr senior that started about 25 games for you... Surely couldn't be the douchebag underthrowing your receivers by 5 yards on every deep route? Nah -- that's the OL's fault**
I know you just like to be combative, but this is just damn stupid. No matter how far you can throw a ball if you are running for your life literally every play you are not going to be effective. Yes his arm strength was low, but I guarantee if the OL had given him just a couple of seconds per play it was have been a lot different game.

He played in 8 technically. He got hurt in the first qtr of LSU and saw like 5 snaps in the bowl game.

Except for the fact that they weren't actually any better than Johnson's -- and we played 4 TE's last year.

So basically what you're telling us is that your team is a heaping pile of shite? Quit being redundant.

Well, there's a reason he wasn't starting anymore.. Let's not pretend he was apart of some great OL's in his time here when he was getting those starts.

Depth wasn't exactly a blessing for us at TE last year.

Engram might be better, but we are much deeper, and I'm not talking about just bodies.
