You're a dumbass! We didn't ignore the fact that Saban left LSU, we are fully aware that he left us for an opportunity in the NFL. And when he decided to return to the college level, we already had a head football coach. LSU is definitely a destination school! And that, dumbass...is a fact!

And yet when the opportunity arose he never went back. LSU went through several coaching hires while Saban was at Alabama and he never went back.

While Saban was at Alabama, LSU hired Les Miles, Ed Orgeron and Brian Kelly. Granted, Miles was at LSU when Saban went to Alabama, but I can't imagine LSU would not have pulled the trigger on firing Miles sooner had Saban actually wanted to return to LSU.

So, you have two options. Either the AD was dumb at LSU for not wanting Saban back, or Saban was content with staying at Alabama over LSU.

I mean there is a lot of context there. He could be saying he regretted leaving LSU for the NFL, because it was a disaster.

I have no doubt he enjoyed his time at LSU. But, there were opportunities for him to go back if he wanted to.

Kiffin made the right decision to go to LSU. PROBABLY. I think there is also a facet to where coaches can find their niche at a certain school,but they do not thrive at another school. It's undeniable that LSU is the better football school. More history, better support, facilities, etc.

But for some reason some coaches have great success at "lesser" schools and struggle at schools that seemingly have advantages.

Not saying Kiffin will struggle at LSU. Personally, I think he will do very well, but only time will tell. It seems everywhere he goes the offense thrives...but the defense seems to suffer, overall. If he can form up to defense with his offenses he will be unstoppable.

Thank you. I get tired of all the trolling that goes on here..but in some ways I guess it also keeps things interesting. With all the trolling going on sometimes i make a sincere post and some people take it as a troll, though.
