And we appreciate it. I know Auburn holds a special place in South Carolina fan's hearts. When you think of Auburn you will always thinks of the Gamecock's first trip to the SEC Championship Game.
Hopefully when you recall that cherished memory you can manage to block out the 56-17 bludgeoning Auburn handed you

wow, you're really mad about that bball win tonight, bringing up games from 6 years ago.
That's adorable. you vent, bro. Go ahead, let it out.

6 years ago is better than 83 years ago which is he only game South Carolina fans can bring up.
Tell me, is this hiring of Muschamp and our assistants an attempt to copy big brother Clemson and how they got their program started by copying everything Auburn did?

What an appropriate picture. Use another teams coach because South Carolina football has nothing to stand on by itself.

My best memory of that 2nd game that season, the one in Atlanta, was walking down the hallway at the hotel the night before the game and hearing Garcia banging-out two Auburn gals he picked up in the lobby downstairs with Cory standing outside the door snickering. It was funny. I guess you had to be there.

Muschamp couldn't win at Florida............
Posted on 1/5/16 at 9:27 pm to CJM
Yeah, that's what's going on
Florida fans are like moths to the light of Muschamp threads. I've never seen a fanbase so butthurt over a coach that wasn't even that bad. How long did you guys harass Illinois fans about Zook?

As long as Butch is at UT, it'll be a three team race in the East: UF, UGA, USC.
Vawls are like a litmus test. Lose to them and you probably aren't going to Atlanta. But they won't get their either. So one of those three will end up in Atlanta each year.

Literally nobody knows who "Cory" is. At least try and insert characters who people have heard of into your stories.
I guess there's not too many of those in South Carolina history though...

If you can't win at UF. You're not doing it in South Carolina.

They won't get their what? shite together? UT played a questionable schedule at the end but they did win the last 5 games. Florida has...... Treon. You better hope that Purdue transfer works out or you'll be looking at Treon all damn year.

As long as UGA, Florida and UT don't start dominating again, I actually think Boom can get South Cack to a consistent 7-5, 8-4, 9-3 type team. He's honestly not a bad hire if you are cool with that. He's a proven recruiter who will be able to get a lot of talent out of Georgia and Florida, and he will always have a tough defense that makes playing them scary.
It sounds crazy but Muschamp is actually a fairly similar coach to the USCe version of Spurrier. Play great D, run the ball, and average but competent QB play.

Good points. I also thought that Muschamp did pretty well on the defensive side of the ball. But the offense is obviously where he never put in the right amount of resources. A lot of these guys can learn from their first time around the coaching carousel. Maybe Muschamp hires the right receivers and RB coaches, gets a good offensive line coach and a proven o-coordinator and puts together a decent team up there.
