The 2010 game was a bigger beatdown than the final score indicates. Auburn had twice as many yards on offense and had the ball inside LSU's 10 yard line when the game ended if I remember correctly. Auburn had over 400 yards rushing in that game alone

That's a fair point. It didn't play as closely as the score indicates. You knelt in the red zone if I recall.

Still doesn't change the rest.

In the 3 times (snickers) you've beaten us since 2002, you won by 1 point (2004), 4 points (2006), and 7 points (2010). In the 8 times we've beaten you (all those other years) the scores have varied wildly. We won by 14 last year, 35 in 2011 (largest margin in the history of the series) and 21 in 2009. You got smoked by JJ.
Quick question - of the above results, which games were in Auburn and which in Red Stick?

Another quick question - in the four games LSU has won in Jordan-Hare in their last 13 visits, what was the margin of victory in those?

Thanks and I'll hang up and listen.

Irrelevent. Your boy started with the premise that we were going to get "raped". The rapings in this series have gone one way since the early 2000s. Your victories have all been in Jordan-Hare (haven't won in BR since 1999), and they've all been close since the 2002 game I mentioned. I don't think we're going to beat the shite out of Auburn at their house, but y'all sure as shite aren't raping anyone. You'll lose close.

the only thing irrelevant is using games from 2, 4, 10, whatever years ago as some kind of predictor for this years game.

as if tuberville's '04 team will effect what malzahn's '14 team will do.

it's a dumb sports logic that most fanatics put way too much stock into

Don't shoot the messenger, kid. In a strict sense, sure it makes no difference that Miles is 7-2 against Auburn. Each game is played under its own set of circumstances. But it's ridiculous to pretend as though LSU is going to be some huge dog against a team the LSU staff is obviously pretty adept at scheming against.

yes, your impressive win against chizik in 2012 & tuberville in 2008 at auburn are really going to help you out this year against malzahn. because the same players and coaches are standing on the sidelines, right? same scheme is in effect for both the offense and defense, right?

not to mention you have no idea what the lines will be in 2+ weeks. just what if you barely pull out the win vs msu, or even get upset? what if auburn blows the doors off ksu? you don't think those 2 games will effect how the line will be set? you think vegas is looking at your win over 3-8 tuberville's team 6 years ago instead of the game against msu?

If the Chief can work his magic to hold Auburn to 24 or less, I think we can grind (frick!!!) 27 on them.

irrelevant, you mean like the past's bearings on this game's outcome? if you want to look at a relevant stat how about CGM's record at home.

the response i expected when confronted with actual logic.

go back to living in your fantasy world where games from 6 years ago will have an impact on this years game.

Well if you're really trying to force us all to toe the "rational" or "logical" line, you should know that you haven't offered any solid analysis to back up the claim that this year's Auburn team is capable of "raping" this year's LSU team. And even if you did provide that, we'd still just be two bored fricks wasting time on our employers' computers. We'll find out how the game is actually going to go at just about the same time as the rest of the world. Until then, STTDB.

how about the fact the last time these two teams played in JHS, LSU squeaked out a 12-10 victory against the worst team in modern Auburn history

Right and all of a sudden you're world beaters a year or two later? Programs don't change overnight. Unless you get one of the single greatest players of all time. It's almost like the fact that auburn touts heismans as program prestige is a bad thing. Alabama and lsu may lack heisman trophies etc but at least they've established a winning culture/tradition that doesn't sway with the wind or the fact that your quarterback is nick Marshall instead of cam newton
