All can block, all are really fast. If you double cover any of them, another will be open. Your linebackers are not capable of covering our wideouts 1 on 1. Let's not forget our tight ends either (6'6 285 and 6'6 265).
We have the fastest, and possibly the best, LB group in the SEC. I wouldn't bet your bottom dollar on that one, our LB's do just fine in coverage. Regardless, you won't be able to field that many at a time, someone will have to stay in the backfield to keep the blitz of Hill.
That's the one thing I haven't seen mentioned. Brandon Wells is the fastest LB I've ever seen, he is extremely flexible. Beniquez Brown is super athletic as well. Then you have McKinney, if he didn't catch your eye in the LSU game, you weren't watching. He will be starting somewhere on Sunday next year. Listed on the freaks list last year due to his 41" vertical, while playing at 6'5" 250lbs.

Good team, prepare to get whipped up front on both sides of the ball.

Strong, physical team on both sides of the ball. Lots of exerienced upperclassmen.
My take on A&M's best chance- focus on scoring fast and often, make it a shootout. Stay generic on defense and accept that they will get 30+, and hope you just out-execute them a couple drives.
I'd say State is superior to Arkansas this season, and not nearly as likely to implode at the end.

All the Aggies have to do is put 8 in the box and force Dak to pass

OL B+
How many 1st rounders do we have on there again? It's our best position.

This bridge schedule screwed the Rant. State's perpetual daddies in an Alabama state team (Auburn) should've popped that smelly balloon by now. Congrats to LSU, however?

Mississippi State had 299 yards rushing on 43 carries a year ago. If ARKANSAS couldn't do that this year, you can be damn sure Mississippi State won't.
That's dumb. Arkansas has a good running game but it relies entirely on the running backs, they're QB isn't much of a threat and they don't throw that well. All a good team has to do against them is stack the box and play 1 on 1 in coverage.
You can't do that against state because Dak will throw it to De'Runnya on a post route over and over again. It's harder to defend the read option because you have to cover the RB and the QB. We have a much more difficult offense to shut down than Arkansas does.

As far as Harris lighting up the starters in the secondary? Yes, he played extremely well. The counter to that is that we played prevent the entire time he was in the ball game. We rushed 3 linemen every time he dropped back to pass.
i was screaming at the tv at this point "Prevent defense prevents you from winning you dumbfricks"
