Both had similar histories at one time and Arkansas was a top 15 program overall but they took a nosedive when they entered the 90s. From 1958-1989, Arkansas had three head coaches in Georgia native Frank Broyles, Lou Holtz and Ken Hatfield.

From 1990 they had Jack Crowe, Joe kines, Danny Ford, Houston Nutt, Bobby Petrino, John L. Smith, Bert and Chad Morris. Eight coaches in the last 30 years. Poor decisions like that will do it no matter who who are.

Arkansas is down to ground zero but they will certainly be better with Sam than the Chad.
