No, that creates an air of impropriety, not concrete evidence thereof. The old adage of it looking like a duck isn't applicable here. The guy is in the Alabama High School Sports Hall of Fame, not the University of Alabama Hall of Fame. He was born here, yes. But are you saying that someone who was born in Louisiana and went to an out of state school, then spent 25 years officiating games all over the SEC, would be involved in a conspiracy to aid LSU? Because that is the insinuation you are making in relation to Gen. Burleson.

I wonder if he's spoken at LSU booster club meetings?

I am writing the NCAA and requesting an investigation into this.

If there is no wrong doing, no big deal.

If there is, I am sure the NCAA would love to snoop around the Bama program AGAIN.

He's a Georgia Tech alum. I guess he was getting revenge over the Peach Bowl loss.

1. The NCAA doesn't use that punishment anymore.
2. WTF? Cheating? Get over it. LSU lost. They were outgained to a 2:1 clip. Had nine yards of offense in the fourth quarter, and no first downs. What makes you think LSU deserved the win?

Well, they were down by 6 with a bit over 5 minutes to go in the game and they should have had the ball.

Don't act like you weren't holding your breath.

is the best shite you can come up with. Finescum must be writing the gump's talking points. Since when stats decide winners. If that is the case why even use a scoreboard. Peyton Manning needed 15 minutes to beat Miami. That is why they keep fricking score. We would of had the ball with about 60 yards to go with 5 minutes left in the game.

And at the rate LSU was racking up yards in the 4th quarter, you would have scored by Thursday.

At the earliest.

Don't worry gumps, I imagine the NCAA will investigate this since Slive refuses to.

If so, even Alabama fans would admit there's a tad bit of a conflict of interest, at the very least.

Bama fans wouldn't admit conflict of interest even if Paul Bryant,Jr was the replay official

I don't understand how a GT alum represents a "conflict of interest".
