AJ McCarron was pigeon-holed as a game manager and never really got the Heisman attention he deserved

Ok, first of all, you do realize he finished SECOND in the Heisman last year, right? How is that not getting Heisman attention? Second of all, not sure he ever really "deserved" Heisman attention (not meant as a knock on him).

Why don't you want to knock him? He knocks Bama constantly since he disappointed last year.

Huh? He likely would have won it had they not lost to Auburn.

Is this a joke?

Winston had that shite on lock as long as his name was cleared from the rape case.

McCarron was never winning the Heisman. Winston got 80% of the possible votes even with a rape allegation.

Winston would have had to be taken off the ballot for McCarron to win. It didn't matter what happened in the Iron Bowl.

Not really. He makes passive-aggressive comments with the hope that people will think about how good he was, etc. He doesn't realize that Bama fans - most anyway - know football and know that while he was very good at exactly what he was asked to do, he was, essentially, just Greg McElroy with 3 years starting instead of 2 and 2 incredible defenses instead of just 1 like Greg had.
