Namath is way worse than Cam Newton. How many DUI's has he got now? 5? 10? He risks killing people behind the wheel on a regular basis. Cam Newton is just good, flashy, and played for AU and it pisses bammers off.

as physically gifted as Newton is, (and we thought we'd never see better than Tebow)isn't he at least a little cringe-worthy to AU fans? I realize y'all will be more 'twitterpated' because he was your QB, with Heisman, NCG, etc, but he is a bit egotistical & douchey. I wouldn't want to admit it if he played for Bama, but I would think it.

I did not mean that I wouldn't want to admit he played for Bama. I meant that if he DID play for Bama, I WOULD NOT WANT TO ADMIT that I think he has a big ego & acts douchey sometimes. In other words, I think most fans gloss over personality stuff if it's a great player for "their" team.
